Disabilities Information Centre has been established to provide a professional and friendly information and directory service to the people of Queensland as well as the whole of Australia. We hope to generate an atmosphere that is welcoming and supportive. We strive for continual improvement in the development and delivery of our services.

It is our aim to be the first point of reference for people with disabilities, to access a directory of organisations, professionals and service providers that are dedicated to fulfilling their needs and requirements.

The necessity for our developing a one-stop-shop for information on most aspects of disability as well as the establishment of a Resource Centre for people with a disability and disability related agencies was identified by our Board of Management.

The Disabilities Information Centre is based at Fairfield in Brisbane. We provide a free information and directory service. We endeavour to provide information that is current, accurate, relevant and timely and in a format which meets your needs.
