Gastroenterological Society of Australia (GESA)is the peak body for the discipline of gastroenterology and hepatology in Australia, with over 1100 members comprising medical graduates, scientists and trainees.

GESA promotes the advancement of knowledge, research and professional guidelines on training of clinicians in the practice of gastroenterology.

The Society is made up of the Australian Liver Association and the Australian Association of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
