Muscular Dystrophy

Muscular Dystrophy is a group of diseases involving wasting of the muscles in which a heredity factor is involved. It usually appears in childhood and causes muscle fibres to degenerate and be replaced by fatty and fibrous tissue. Affected muscles may eventually lose all power causing great disability.
