Multiple Sclerosis

Multiple Sclerosis is a disease of the spinal cord and brain that usually affects people below the age of 40. Its cause is unknown but is the subject of much research. The disease is characterised by patches of hardened connective tissue scattered throughout the brain and spinal cord. Periods of progression and remission of this condition are common.
